Vermicelli with chicken and lemon

Ingredients:
8 oz vermicelli noodles
1 pound chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fish sauce (or additional soy sauce)
Juice of 1 lemon (about 2-3 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Sliced green onions (for garnish, optional)
