The madness tastes sooo good, Brussels sprout stew with meatballs

Preparation:
1. Prepare the meatballs
Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs well in a bowl. Form small balls from the mixture (approx. 2-3 cm in diameter).
Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides. Then put them aside on a plate.
2. Prepare the stew
Heat oil in a large pan and sauté the onion cubes until translucent.
Add the potatoes and carrots, fry briefly.
Deglaze with the stock and bring to the boil.
Add the Brussels sprouts and simmer the stew over medium heat for approx. 20 minutes until the vegetables are cooked.
3. Add the meatballs
Add the fried meatballs to the stew and let it simmer for a further 5-10 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
Serve
Serve the Brussels sprout stew hot, sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives. A piece of fresh bread or baguette goes well with this.
Enjoy your meal!
