Texas Sheet Cake

I have made this recipe for years. My children always chose it for their birthday cake over any other, and it makes enough for a crowd. Moist and delicious. Very easy to make.

Ingredients:

1 cup water

1 cup butter

3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup sour cream

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Frosting

6 Tablespoons milk

3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup butter

3 3/4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 18×13” pan.
Add water butter cocoa powder to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a boil.
