Strawberry Cream Cheesecake

Ingredients
For the cake base:
1 box of yellow or white cake mix

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the cream cheese layer:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the strawberry filling:
1 box (21 oz) strawberry pie filling

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the cake base
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

In a bowl, combine the cake mix and melted butter until you have a crumbly dough.

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the baking dish to form the crust. Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake base.

Step 3: Add the Strawberry Topping
Carefully place the strawberry pie filling over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.

Step 4: Bake and Cool
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
