Puff Pastry Sunflower With Ham and Parmesan

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).Lay out one puff pastry sheet on a flat surface. Brush it evenly with tomato sauce, then sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top.
Add a pinch of salt for flavor.Distribute the ham evenly across the pastry.
Cover the prepared pastry with the second puff pastry sheet, pressing gently to seal the layers.Using a sharp knife, cut strips radiating outward from the center of the pastry, leaving a small circle uncut in the middle. Twist each strip gently to form the petals of the sunflower.
Brush the entire pastry with egg wash to give it a glossy, golden finish when baked.Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
