The perfect alternative for anyone who likes it crispy and juicy
These oven meatballs are not only easy to prepare, but also incredibly tasty. Baking them in the oven keeps them particularly juicy and gives them a wonderfully crispy crust.
Ingredients:
2 small onions or 1 cup of fried onions
2-3 tablespoons mustard
3 tablespoons ketchup (curry or tomato)
3 tablespoons warm water
850 g minced meat (mixed)
1 large egg
3 tablespoons paprika powder
Herbs (e.g. parsley, chives)
Salt
Pepper
2 cups breadcrumbs
Preparation:
Marinade: Mix water, paprika powder, mustard, ketchup and egg in a bowl.
Minced meat mixture: Add the minced meat, onions, herbs and breadcrumbs to the marinade and knead everything well.
Shaping: Form small balls from the mixture and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
