1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)
Instructions:
Prepare the Gelatin:
In a small dish, combine one teaspoon of unflavored gelatin with two teaspoons of cold water. Allow it to sit for a few minutes until it blooms, becoming gelatinous and absorbing the water.
Heat the Milk:
Pour one cup of whole milk into a small saucepan and heat it over medium-low heat. Warm the milk until it is hot to the touch but not boiling.
Combine Milk and Gelatin:
Remove the milk from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until it completely dissolves.
Chill the Mixture:
