How to clean the oven with baking soda and without detergents

Then start degreasing the racks and the oven door in all its joints. On a work surface, sprinkle the racks with dry baking soda, then sprinkle the vinegar until a white foam is created. Rinse with warm water or, for a deeper cleaning, leave the racks immersed in boiling water even for a whole day.

Put the clean racks back in the oven and replace the door. Make sure you don’t smell vinegar anymore. In that case, you can heat the oven and put a pan with 1 liter of hot water mixed with the juice of two lemons on the lower level. Let it evaporate with the oven off to eliminate all residual odors.

Tips
Clean the oven with this natural method at least once a week, if you use it often. The advice is to not leave it too dirty and to remove the residues before incrustations are formed, in order to be able to clean it more easily and without too much effort.

When cleaning the walls of the oven, make movements from the inside to the outside, taking care to pass with the sponge in the cracks and not only on the surface.

You may have to repeat the steps more than once, if there are stubborn encrustations.

You can also use a dish brush to remove residues, but be careful to use soft bristles, not to scratch the walls of the oven.

Always wear thick rubber gloves when cleaning the oven. Even if they are natural and non-aggressive products, the skin could still become irritated.
