Step 3: Warm up the chocolate until it turns into a liquid.

Once the caramel has become firm, warm the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Warm the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it is fully melted and smooth. Use a spoon or a pastry bag to spread the melted chocolate over each group of caramel and pecans, ensuring that the caramel is fully coated. Let the chocolate-covered candies sit at room temperature or place them in the fridge until the chocolate is completely firm.

Step 4: Serve and Store

Once the chocolate is firm, remove the candies from the parchment paper or silicone mat. You can either eat it now or store it in a closed container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. These candies are perfect for sharing with family and friends or for treating yourself to a special treat.
