If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
2. Make the Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the marinade over the chicken tenders and toss to coat evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for deeper flavor).
3. Assemble the Skewers
Thread the marinated chicken tenders onto the skewers, folding them if necessary to fit.
4. Grill the Skewers
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Grill the skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
5. Add the Parmesan
While the skewers are still hot, sprinkle them generously with grated Parmesan cheese. The heat will help the cheese melt and stick to the chicken.
6. Garnish and Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
Tips for the Best Chicken Skewers
Don’t Overcook: Chicken tenders cook quickly, so keep an eye on them to avoid drying them out.
