Dolly Bars

Dolly bars, also known as seven-layer bars or magic bars, are a popular American dessert typically made with seven layers of ingredients. These bars are sweet, rich, and indulgent. While variations exist, a typical recipe includes layers of graham cracker crumbs, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans.

Here’s a basic recipe for Dolly Bars:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 1/3 cups shredded coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts over the condensed milk layer, in that order.
Press down gently on the layers with the back of a spoon or spatula.
