Delicious Lemon Pie Recipe

Ingredients
For the Crust:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
For the Filling:
1 14 oz.-can sweetened condensed milk
4 large egg yolks
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
Zest of one lemon (optional)
For Topping:
2 cups whipped cream
Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Preparing the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and graham cracker crumbs until well mixed.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the pie pan, using the back of a spoon or your fingers to firmly pack it down.
Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool while you prepare the filling.
2. Making the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, lemon juice, and lime juice until smooth and well combined.
If desired, add the zest of one lemon to enhance the citrus flavor of the filling.
Pour the filling into the baked crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
