Crispy Popcorn Chicken

Marinate: In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with buttermilk and let sit for 15-30 minutes.

Prepare Coating: In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Breading Process: Beat the egg in a separate bowl. Dip each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
