Beer Cheese Bread

There is really nothing better than a loaf of homemade bread. Paired with soup or just smeared with butter, there’s no going wrong. While I love a sourdough and other traditional breads, there’s something to be said for the simple quick bread doughs that require little more than mixing ingredients together and popping the loaf pan in the oven. This delicious Beer Cheese Bread is exactly that. It takes mere minutes to whip up and it’s absolutely packed with flavor. Let’s get into how it’s made!

The great thing about this recipe is that you likely have all the ingredients on hand. You’ll start with the basics of flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix until fully combined and then comes the flavor! Pour in your favorite 12 ounce beer, a handful of chopped chives, and just over a cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir it all together until no dry spots remain and transfer the dough to a greased bread pan. No kneading necessary!

Bake the loaf for about 40 minutes or until it’s perfectly golden on top and cooked through the center. I know the bread smells absolutely heavenly at this point, but it’s best to allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing into it. Once cooled, slice into hearty pieces and serve it alongside your favorite soup, pasta, or as a satisfying snack. Give this easy Beer Cheese Bread a try and it’s bound to become a new fav in your recipe collection.
