Amish Yum Yum Salad

Preparation
In a medium-sized saucepan, combine water, pineapple (with juices), and sugar and bring to a boil. Continue simmering for 4-5 minutes, whisking often to prevent burning.
Take pan off the heat and whisk in jello until fully dissolved.
Chill jello mixture for about 30 minutes or until it begins to thicken.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then slowly mix until heavy cream until fully combined.
Pour the chilled jello mixture into the cream mixture and beat until fully incorporated.
Transfer mixture to a serving dish if desired, then cover and chill until fully set, about 3-4 hours.
