Salsa Picante Mexique

Here’s a simple and authentic recipe for Salsa Picante Mexique (Mexican Hot Sauce):

Ingredients:

•6 medium tomatoes

•2 fresh jalapeño peppers (or serrano peppers for extra heat)

•2 garlic cloves

•1/2 small onion, roughly chopped

•1 tablespoon olive oil

•1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

•1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

•Juice of 1 lime

•Salt to taste

Instructions:
1.Roast the Ingredients:

•Place the tomatoes, jalapeños, and garlic cloves on a hot skillet or griddle (without oil).

•Roast them until the skins are slightly charred and blistered, turning occasionally for even cooking.
