Ingredients
12 chicken wings (approximately 1 kg)
750 g (1.6 lb) floury potatoes, cut into chunks
6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 teaspoons smoked paprika (or pimentón)
10 sprigs of fresh oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried oregano)
Olive oil (for drizzling)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Optional: Chili flakes for heat
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Prepare the Chicken Wings:
In a large bowl, mix half of the chopped garlic with smoked paprika, chili flakes (if using), half of the oregano, and a generous drizzle of olive oil.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are well coated. If possible, let them marinate for at least 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
Prepare the Potatoes:
Place the potato chunks in a pot of cold salted water. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot, tossing them gently to fluff up the edges.
