Ingredients :
– 6 large tomatoes.
– 250g sausage meat (preferably from the butcher)
– 250g of minced meat (beef, veal or pork)
– 1 large onion.
– 3 cloves of garlic.
– 5 sprigs of thyme.
– 5 sprigs of parsley.
– 60g of stale bread crumbs.
– 40ml vegetable broth.
– 1 tablespoon of whole cane sugar.
– 30g grated parmesan.
– 30g of breadcrumbs.

Preparation of authentic stuffed tomatoes:
– Preheat the oven to 180°C
– Prepare the tomatoes! Wash them, cut off the cap and reserve them. Empty the tomatoes using a spoon. Save half of the tomato pulp and the other half for other preparations.
– Arrange the hollowed out tomatoes in the baking dish brushed with a little olive oil, place the sprigs of thyme at the bottom of the dish. lightly salt the tomatoes.
– Dip the stale bread crumbs into the vegetable broth.
