8 effective tips to degrease very dirty ovens and make them like new!

Clay:
If the deposits and stains are particularly stubborn, you can use clay, a remarkable degreaser for your oven.

To do this, start by rubbing a sponge on the clay stone, then bring it to the side of the appliance. When this is done, lightly dampen a microfiber cloth and then wipe the inside of the oven again. Cleaning your oven is not just about cleaning the inside. As a general rule, the grid is the most affected by repeated cooking and can accumulate a lot of unpleasant residue.

For this reason, one of the simplest methods is to remove them and put them in the sink. Then, spray white vinegar on the blister and, after a few minutes, sprinkle with baking soda. A simple rinse with a sponge with water is enough after rinsing the dirt!

Marseille soap:
Marseille soap is a good substitute for white vinegar and baking soda.

To benefit from its softening properties, simply mix it with water, then dip a sponge in this solution before scrubbing the net. You can also use a dish brush for optimal cleaning.

To clean the oven door:
Heat and baking soda:

Generally equipped with double glazing, the oven door is one of the places that gets dirty. It is easy at most and it is also one of the first things you notice when you enter the kitchen! Fortunately, there is a natural trick to solve this problem.

To start, preheat the oven for a few minutes to 40-50°C. Once the inside of the oven has reached this temperature, turn it off and wait a few minutes.

Then, open the door and spread the paste made from a tablespoon of baking soda and a few drops of water on it. Leave it to act for about 5 to 10 minutes, then use a sponge soaked in warm water to remove. The result: clean and shiny glass as if your oven was new!
